Focus of study for "A Doll's House" (feminist)

-relationship between nora and helmer: the relationship between Nora and Helmer seems adulate because they are very cutsie and romantic with eachother. you can especially see their care for eachother when it is revealed that Nora took a loan and forged a signiture in order to pay for an orperation for Helmer. however, there is also a sense of rebellion on Noras part as well. examples are seen when she lies about the macarrons. it is clear that Helmer talks down on her slightly and treats her as a little girl even doll like.
-Nora as wife and mother: Nora so fa as a mother seems caring but as though she does not want to do all the work that is required with children. it seems like she has the maid take care of them alot of the time and everyonce in a while she'll coo for them and play a game or two. as a wife she seems like she truly loves her husband but at the same time she appears to want him for his money
-Nora and Dr. Rank:
-nora and Krogstad: nora and krogstad dont seem to have any type of positive relationship it pretty much seems as though they use eacher. Nora used Krogstad for the loan and now Krogstad is trying to use Nora to keep his job via blackmail
-Nora and Christine:

notes taken on the movie so far:
-opens with dusk, snow, kids sledding
- Helmer thinks nora is thoughtless;typical of women not to care about others
- " " will not borrow money from others
- Christine shows up --bright lighting-->she has nothing to live on opened a shop and school
- nora obsessed with money and spending it
- Honestman=in the cold; dishonest=good job
- macaroons forbidden in house but she still eats them ==rebellion
- Nora twists words often
- Krogstad comes and talks to Nora b.c. he is concerned about christine working there and wants to keep his job
- krog, talks down on nora;;made a mistake and not brough to trial
- Nora forges father signiture
- heavenly music after krogstad leaves

hamlet vocab soliliguoy thingy :)

hamlet soliloquy act 2 scene 2:
- i think in this soliloquy hamlet is resoulte because throughout the soliloquy he gains determination from the actors to come up with a plan in order to avenge his dead father.
- pensive: i dont really know how to prove this one to not be true in this case because it really is. hamlet is deep in thought throughout the soliloquy just as much as he is determined. he tries to think of how to avenge his father and how the actor creates the feelings from nothing, however i felt he was determined more
- melancholy: hamlet at this point in the play is melancholy because he isnt really sad about anything he expresses a little bit of sadness when he mentions if the actors had gone through what he has they would have true feelings butt other then this all other emotions conquer that slight amount of melancholy
- incredulous: he isnt incredulous because there is nothing he is skeptical about. at this point hamlet is showing and sense of being skeptical
